Urgent Medical Needs

Health care that we take for granted is not accessible to the vast majority of Kenyans, especially those living in rural and pastural areas. From time to time we reach out to help those serving with us and those to whom we minister (like sponsored widows and sponsored students) when medical crises arise. Nation health insurance may pay up to 30% of the bills, but the family is left with the rest. In addition, treatment is often halted or withheld unless a cash payment is made.

Currently, our Kenyan National Director, Rev. Josephat Kyalo, (who was seriously ill with COVID), remains in the hospital in Nairobi. He was taken off the ventilator, his feeding tube was removed, and he can breathe without oxygen support. He is able to stand with assistance, and wants to thank the many folks who have been praying for him.

His hospital bills are expected to exceed $40,000. If you are able to help, click on the donate button below and pull down the box to "Use this donation for ..." and then select "Rev. Josephat Kyalo Hospitilization." We appreciate this so much. Continue to pray for his complete recovery. Come back to this page for updates.
